Tafsir, Islamic Studies, and Islamic History Class A - Cl.2
Every Satuday from 9 am - 12 noon
Alhamdulillah, in today's class we had technical difficulties closer to the end of class. MashaAllah we were able to complete the following:
Hifdh/Memorization/Review of al-Falaq and an-Nas
Quran/Tafsir Reading for parts of the suwar al-Falaq and an-Nas
Character Building for the Muslim Youth - The Correct Creed - Understanding point number 2 We believe that calling upon the dead and seeking aid from them, and similarly with the living, in that which no one besides Allaah is capable of, is Shirk with Allaah. Likewise, believing that charms and amulets can bring about benefit along with Allaah, or without Allaah is Shirk, and carrying them without that belief is superstition.
And lastly, a review of the stories of the prophets--continuing with the Seerah of Prophet Adam (alaihis salaam).
We will continue next week inshaAllah. BarakAllahu Feekum
